FO4, my rifle has a 28" barrel, and is built on a newer Browning 1886 action, I fire the 525's to an easy 1850 fps with RL-15 powder.
A Bud of mine with nearly the same rifle set-up runs the 525's to 2200 fps
, I have loaded my rifle to 2150, recoil is noticeable with the steel crescent butt,
But not that bad.
I would stick with the 525 or 600 grain Beartooth bullet for maximum sectional density and penetration.
