Buudy of mine called today and told me while sighting in rifles he accidentally fired a .243Win round in his 7mm08. He wanted to know if that screwed up his barrel. I told him I honestly did not know. Can a lead bullet mess up a steel rifling? He did not want to shoot it after the incident, so I have no idea how it shot after that. Any thoughts? Thanks!
