Lots of 300 Wknchester ammo has been shot in 300 Weatherby's over the years too.
I have heard of this, usually when .300 Wby. ammo. was not available, Never seen it, though.
Does it work, and if so, how well, if you had to do it or not shoot at all?
I would be mainly concerned with gas blow back over the shorter .300 Win. shoulder and neck area.
