Looks remarkably like the one I bought in '87 for $275 NIB sitting in the "used" rack at a local dealer. It was born in '77 and hadn't sold so it was put with the used stuff. Came with all the tags, paperwork and box. It has since been hunted. Drops stuff DRT. Has to be the second best cartridge Savage ever chambered the 99 for after the .300 Savage.
2nd best? I guess.
