Another vote for the Alaskan Guide S30V series by Buck. They are on sale right now too. Got a flier this week. Mine is the small Caper version that they don't appear to make anymore, but the Skinner and Vanguard would be fine ones also. For that matter, the old 110 style in that steel would suit me too.
