I mentioned them in my first post. I have personally seen bullets lose their jackets, erratic behavior with the ones that make it to the target, and pressure develop more quickly than one would see with a slower-twisted barrel.

As also stated, I'm not against a fast-twist barrel. I own and have owned a number of them in various chamberings. I have shot a number of others that were not mine. 223, 223ai, 22-250ai, 243ai, 6xc, 6mmbr, 22br to name the ones that are immediately coming to mind. They have their purpose. The point that I am making is that a fast-twist barrel is not a fix-all, nor should it be what is recommended for all scenarios. The OP here clearly wanted to shoot light bullets very fast, and stated that if he wanted to shoot heavier bullets he would just use one of his other rifles. There is ZERO sense, with that goal in mind, of recommending a fast-twist barrel. asked, and respond in a manner that will be most helpful to the question being asked.
