there are plenty that wont but there are always enough people that are more interested in power than principles to get the job done.....i know if there was something like that locally our officers wouldnt bother but the police chief and sheriff are vets and they have enough chit on their plate they aint gonna keep people off a sidewalk.....fortunately when yah move to smaller towns you can often find a higher portion of good guys....unfortunately when the chit hits the fan there are enough people waiting in the wings that want even a tiny amount of perceived power that with enough force from above the good ones can get pushed out
