What I currently use - a Ruger M77 .260 Remington set in a Boyd's thumbhole stock, bedded and floated. 2.5-10x40 Nikon Monarch, 129 gr. Hornady Interlock propelled by 44 gr. of IMR 4350, started up with a Rem. 9 1/2 primer in Remington brass. Have a string of 8 one-shot kills, zero blood trailing, unless chunks of lung in the path count.
