OK, I'll show you how to use the HTML command even if the normal method does not work. I use this command a lot on another forum that seems to have trouble inserting photos the "normal" way.

I first type out the initial command that starts and ends with brackets as such:

Then, with no spaces after the end bracket, I paste my photo link like this, and then add the end command bracket immediately after the g on jpg. NOTE, IN THIS EXAMPLE I'M LEAVING A SPACE RIGHT AFTER THE jpg . . . so the image will NOT display:

As you can see, the correct HTML command MUST have no spaces, or the image won't show, just the botched command so you can see and edit the error.

Now I'll paste the identical command from just above, but remove that error space after jpg so the end command bracket touches the "g" . . . and voila . . . the image appears! Hope this helps!

Another way you can do the HTML command is the type the open and end command together, with no spaces between them, and then "paste the photo link between the open and end command brackets.

Here's what THAT looks like: [img][/img]

Once you remember how this looks, you might not every try to insert a photo any other way again. Don't forget though, you MUST have the photo hosted somewhere online with an http or https address that ends with the photo file name type such as jpg, png, etc.
