I use 24.0/IMR 4759 behind Sierra's 130 gr. softpoint, either flat base or boattail. Velocity is just over 1800 fps from the 22" barrel of my Tikka T3. 100 yd. accuracy is excellent - holes touching at 100 yds. Point of impact is in the x-ring at 100 yds. with the CDS dial set for 300 yds. for my hunting load (Barnes' 110 TTSX at 3400 fps). 200 yd. groups open up of course, to around 3 - 3 1/2", but still ok for coyotes or javelina. This load is right out of the Speer No. 10 manual.

Recoil and noise are similar to a .222, in other words, mild enough for an inexperienced woman or child.
