For a ramp, I use a home made version of these ramp ends from Cabelas. I used 2 7' 2x10's and bolted some bent steel on the ends to hang on the tailgate. IMPORTANT: I put an eyebolt in the side of each ramp with a chain that hooks of the hitch ball. That keeps them from kicking back and dumping you. A dangerous way to go is just using the boards lying on the tailgate. The tires can easily knock a board off the gate. These brackets are 500% safer.

I don't know about the tents. I have a high fiberglass shell on mine. It's tall enough for my atv to go inside so I drive it as far up the ramp as I can, then I rigged a pully to pull it in. It's not as handy as just driving in, but in many cases it's handier than pulling a trailer. I often do use a trailer, though, because it's too hard to get my camping gear in around the atv. It just depends on the situation.
