I was scoping out the usual suspects--1911's, stainless revolvers, etc., when my eyes drifted over a Glock 23.

Start reloading and shoot the thing cause it takes a while to master the trigger (I like the 3.5lb with stock spring). IMO, the G23 is the best of the Glock line. Compact enough to conceal, yet large enough to shoot. 40S&W gives a step up from the 9mm (my favorite is 155gr @1200fps). 13 rounds is comforting. Excellent wearing finish and low maintenance. And it might be ugly, but it always goes BANG.
