It has not been refinished. Roger Rule oiled up the original finish. The rifle is all original but for the Type III safety mod and the stock plug.
Roger Rule is a detail oriented guy, as you can tell by his book, and took extremely good care of his rifles. If you saw his gun collection you would see what I mean.
I'm looking forward to using it (carefully, of course...lol)!
