Not as explosive of a prairie dog killer as I'd expect or it was a longer range shot. Are those Sako a 14 twist? I want at least a 10 but wouldn't mind a 8 for some of the specialized bullets. The biggest problem with my 6X47 is it has a 12 twist and it doesn't like anything over 75 grains.

I am sure it must be a 1/12. I am shooting 55 grain Varmigedden bullets in it. I chrono'ed them at 3150. Not as fast as I want, I will be adding about 1 1/2 grains more to get that velocity up. It won't keep up with the 222 mag and 40 grain V-max at 3800...

A good accuracy node for the 6PPC is 3300 with the 66-68 grain bullets.
