FWIW I labored a long time over deciding whether or not to buy one. Glad I did as it was one of the better investments I have made. I run mine all year long unless it is just too nasty to be outside. It will light when it is so cold my propane grill won't. I use it as an oven, a grill a smoker, a cold smoker. Lots of guidance here on this forum and one old sourpuss it seems (gotcha Denny!
