the saran wrap coating process is known to be scratch proof. it does get a little tacky, though, if the shooter flicks his bic too closely.

My unpatented scope idea has been ripped off. i have been told that ruger now supplys this scope factory mounted preset and bore sighted on all the frontier scout rifles. ripoffs!!! im calling my attorney.
