I ask this only because I can't call the source this evening, but I recently had their bino stud installed on my EL's. While trying out the system tonight, which for the record it's really nice having bino's on a tripod, I was unable to detach the stud from the adapter.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, any hints on separating the two?

Gonna have to call them tomorrow to see what I can do to get them detached. Hoping I won't have to send them back in.

For the record, this is not a negative post towards Outdoorsmans as I have nothing but positive things to say about their products/CS just trying to hopefully get things figured out on my own.

I think it screws down and locks, you may have to unscrew the locking knob to get it to release. Going from memory here, I'll go check mine to confirm.

Knob does screw down and lock, once unscrewed (loosened) you have to push down on the knob to release. Mine seems to have a "front and back", if I put the adapter on one way it works well, turn it around and it is harder to get off. Go figure...

Thanks Doug. Exactly the info I needed. Feeling kind of dumb about not knowing to push the button down, but that was the trick. Heck, I didn't even know it had a button.

Thanks again.
