Can someone tell me how to disable the automatic ejectors on a Winchester 101 O/U shotgun? I am having a difficult time opening the action after firing and I suspect that the ejectors are the problem. I assume that the springs in the forearm activate the ejectors. Thanks for any help.

I doubt it's the ejectors causing the problem. Have you properly greased the pivot points? With close inspection, have you noticed any galling of the receiver/chamber faces? Have you had the buttstock off and the hammers/sears inspected?

blitzen, The ejector springs should have no effect on opening the gun as they are compressed during the closing action, at least on every example I can recall. During the opening motion the compressed spring awaits being tripped to eject the empty.
