Can anyone tell me how to disable the automatic ejectors on a Winchester 101 O/U shotgun? I am having a difficult time opening the action after firing and I suspect the ejectors are the culprit. I assume that the springs in the forearm power the ejectors. I have also posted this query on the gunsmithing forum. Any help would be appreciated.

The schematic might help. Taking out the ejector springs will disable them, but I'm unclear why you think they are making your gun hard to open. Were you getting weak ejection?
