Also consider the Limsaver # 10011. It should come with a then plastic plate that fits into the skeleton stock and the pad is screwed to that. If yours doesn't come with it (and a lot don't) just give Limbsaver a call and they will send it right out. I use this on my skeleton stock Rugers, pretty simple and they work well.
