Rebecca sounds like a fighter! She can lick this thing. She obviously has a close knit family who will support her and get her through each healing step. Those 22% are made up of people just like her. Not to sound like a bad Tony Robbins tape, but the power of a positive mental attitude can do wonders towards the healing process. Godspeed to Rebecca.

So sorry about your sis.
Just finished the first go-round of stage 3.5 Larynx cancer myself, and it is hard.
After surgery, chemo, radiation, diet in rehab and all the other miseries you will come to know, I am in remission, for now. Because of lifestyle, genes, bad habits and whatever, my docs say that it will probably be cancer that finally gets me. Maybe not the one I have now, but sooner or later... and I am only 75.
I don't know if this will help, but tell sis to just enjoy herself as much as she can. Do things she likes to do. Learn to tell people "NO!" Have fun. Stay involved. NEVER quit, because new treatments show up every day.
God didn't allow us to have a physical body and live as we do for punishment. It should be a joy every day, as best we can.
If one more prayer helps, you have it.

Sorry to hear about your Sister David. Keep up the faith, my oldest Sister was told she had a bad case of Ovarian cancer, she was operated on and they discovered they were WRONG.It was not fatal and she is very healthy to this day. Godspeed to your family, especially Mom and Dad. That's the worst part is having to have your parents worrying about their girl. I hope everything works out for her.

Hospital discharged Becky a day early. Wooo Hoooo!!
She's home with Nanny a.k.a., my Mother. Not a better care giver in the world. So 2nd inning over and onto the 3rd, which are results from the test labs. We remain optimistic about those!!
Ron glad for your sister and we may have found ourselves in a similar situation. Time will tell.
Please keep the success stories coming as I'm feeding those to her. She looks great and is ready for the 3rd. Thus far. it's all home runs!!
All my prayers to those who have experienced this evil. Again, you guys are the very best!

Thanks All! We were the ones tiredly eating Chicken sandwiches. She's not really been able to eat since her surgery. Other than broth and a bite or 2 of yogurt that's about it. Hoping to see her eat a vege hot dog on the 4th. We still await the pathologists test results. Grrrr.....
