Colt Woodsman Sport .22 LR 4.5" barrel, 3rd Series (1976-77) with matching serial numbered box and papers. I can't call it mint, but I don't see any issues at all. Wood grips and metal look like new. It has one Colt magazine. You won't find a cleaner a Woodsman.

I sold one just like yours a couple of years ago. Mine was 99%. It had been fired, but there wasn't a mark on it other than on the bolt face. The box was kind of beat up. I got $800 on gunbroker. I see them listed for more, but they don't sell.

I bought an unfired Sport Woodsman essentially identical to yours but with 2 magazines and made a few years earlier for $750 a few years ago (of course I immediately fired it). I think a realistic price for one now is in the area of $950. But I would check the actual SOLD prices on the online auction sites, and look at the classifieds on www.rimfirecentral.com and www.colt22.com and www.coltforum.com. Asking prices tell you little.

I sold my 4.5" barrel Match target about 98% about a year ago for $1400.00. Didn't really want to sell it but for that I did. --- Mel
The only thing I'm an expert at is my own opinion, and I have plenty of those!
