I remember frivolous lawsuit after frivolous lawsuit filed by the left. The state was picking up the tab. She did the right thing and resigned to save the state money.

Coulda saved the state about $3B more if she would have stepped down a couple years earlier than she did.

Yea,,,, I've heard that story until I'm sick of it.

It's right up there with "sanctary city's encourage illegals to rat on each other" so they're a good idea.

She should have stood her ground and counter sued but instead she gave up and walked away from her "sworn oath" which you obviously don't put much store in.

So Gov. Palin was making about $125 to $145K a year and there’s about $1 million in personal legal fees coming at her and her family…you do the math. At the time Alaska was the only state that did not protect their legislators from frivolous lawsuits.

However, Sarah said money can be paid back, but tying up her office to the point of not getting done what she needed to do was unacceptable.
“Only the opposition really comprehends the work involved with FOIA requests-from the retrieval of all correspondence and emails, to copying them for lawyers and staff to review in order to remove confidential or privileged information, to assembling and packing them, and on and on. Just one of these requests for a certain batch of e-mails generated 24,000 individual sheets of paper.
So instead of doing our jobs, my staff, including attorneys, spent thousands of hours and wasted more than $2 million of public monies to sort through it all one sheet at a time.” Governor Palin.

When Alaska finally figured out what it had also cost the state, they finally reformed their ethics law. A year later.
Alaska did not pay Sarah's bills. They do now. Just like any other state and the Feds. You can sue Obama until the cows come home and US taxpayers pick up the tab.
On December 22, 2010, new rules governing Alaska executive branch ethics, stemming from Sarah Palin's tenure as governor, took effect.

We've seen you libs support the most corrupt and destructive administration in the nations history, no matter how outrageous the scandal is because facts don't matter, but the progressive agenda, in all it's marxist glory, does. Doesn't matter how stupid, criminal, apparent, and undeniable it is, you folks spin a Bush's fault on it and think no one's the wiser. That's hard to stomach while we watch the country we loved and wanted our kids to live in disintegrate before your eyes because of lemmings, sheeple and traitors: all one in the same.

People who should know better, except for stiff necks and the mental disease that liberalism brings, where truth becomes lies and right is wrong. That gets a little hard to deal with, and the further we go, the harder it gets.

Think about it this way. If the muslims living in the US would have heckled and taunted the 911 crews clearing out the rubble from the Towers, how do you think that would have gone over? It's not much different than when liberals take their party line lies and trot them out as truth in an attempt to excuse abject treason.

And liberals have about the same agenda as muslims do for America. Change it from what it was, which was the most prosperous and free nation in the world, to something much less.Liberals via always failed socialism and muslims via sharia. The threat is essentially the same, and should be treated as such.

What we have seen in the past 20 years is a small but angry and vocal wing of the GOP has become so polarized that we now have the likes of Trump leading the GOP. The crazy thing is Cruz looks sane when standing beside Trump!
