Any advantage over a reg carbide die, or just an expensive gimmick!

I'm interested in some opinions on this topic, too. I have, so far, not been able to convince myself that I need it.
If we live long enough, we all have regrets. But the ones that nag at us the most are the ones in which we know we had a choice.

Whats the purpose or goal?
We may know the time Ben Carson lied, but does anyone know the time Hillary Clinton told the truth?

The idea is to size the the bullet seating area correctly without over sizing the base!

I've gone ahead and bought them. I do think the dual ring is a better way to go - I also think that no single sizing die is perfect for all combinations of brass thickness, spring back and bullet size so I'm sure there will be combinations where the dual ring is inferior.
I can't say that people who are happy with their current setup should expect spending money to make them even happier. Still I do think the dual ring and Redding Precision seater and profile/taper crimp as appropriate make better hand loads - maybe not much better but some.
