I am thinking about parting ways with my Remington 700 Mountain Rifle, chambered in 260 Remington. Rifle wear's a 2-5x8x36 Leupold VXIII. Which sits inside Talley Lows. I know that they didn't make a whole lot of these in 260. Just wanted to see what it was worth.

Stainless i presume ? Keep the Leupy and i'll take it. Seriously,i bought the same rifle in 7mm-08 off here about 6 years ago for $450. I'm guessing $650-$700 minus the scope.

One Mtn LSS in 260 sold on Gunbroker for $900. It would most likely fetch that, or more, if you listed it on there with high quality pictures.

I thought there was a Faux Ti 260 that went $900'ish a few months ago.
7-08's are like 8-track tapes, 260 is what all the kool kids want....

I'd guess in the $500-600 range, depending on condition.

Put it on GB, start it at $500 and see where it goes. I am betting it will go for quite a bit more than $500.

There is no way to coexist no matter how many bumper stickers there are on Subaru bumpers!

Put it on GB, with a penny start and no reserve. It will always go for more than its worth. Starting them high results in far fewer lookers/bidders.

Wood and DM, that was the best one ever made by Remington. That is THE Mountain Rifle.
