One of us, in a moment of extreme weakness, went and got hisself engaged recently. It's time the rotten scoundrel stepped up and faced the music. I sense a bachelor party of historic, epic proportions in the making here. Much alcohol will be drank, and if Travis comes, farm animals will be hurt!

I'm not too sure about a bachelor party but we can sure as hell do some damage to a sheep.

You and Travis are on your own on that one buddy.

Sheep? Nobody said it might be a Muslim bachelor party. I'll have to go out to the sheet house and see if I have a clean sheet.
Like I said, it is time for some details from the recently promised-to-be-betrothed person to come clean.

My baby girl got herself a concussion on Monday night. She fell while on a trampoline and complained of a headache. It was hot so I had her drink lots of water. Yesterday she still had a headache and then started to vomit so I knew right away then.

She's not a baby anymore but dads with daughters know about" daddy's little girl" so push good thoughts her way for a few weeks to heal quickly and correctly.

The tough part will be getting her to be still and rest enough.anyone with an active teenage daughter knows how easy that is.

Sorry to hear this Tom. Been there done that. Keep her down and resting to the degree you can. Thoughts are prayers headed your way. If there's anything I can do, let me know Tom. I was thinking maybe a crash helmet or a parachute? I know....STFU Jeff!

Tzone, you have to watch them..they can come back at any little bump again too. Daughter has had a few in BBall so i know what your going through. keep the phones and games away and limit the TV time as well for now. Not a fun situation after they've had them once.

Right now she's still pretty sleepy, so she's getting rest. But, she still has a headache.

Keeping her off the phone and computer will be the tough part.

She is in gymnastics during the summer and also for the HS team. The doc said that is one of the tougher activities because of the movements, on a concussion. Hers is considered severe by the doc, so inactivity is very important on this deal.

Our youngest boy hyperextended both elbows this past weekend.

Fell out of the back of a pick up head first on to the pavement. Was able to brake his fall but dang near broke both arms in the process.

Well good grief sorry to hear about all the young ones being hurt . Learned this weekend that my great niece who is just two was stuck in the eye by a lit punk. It got part of the retna but they think her vision will be ok .

Enough of this Tom Foolery Who got engaged !

My nieces are like my daughters to me....hunt that little punk down!! in all seriousness, I hope she is ok!

Dang rooster. I hope chicken little is in for a speedy recovery as well.

How's she doing tonight Tom?

She's pretty groggy still. She dot most of the day, which is very good, as you know. She got some appetite back too. I think now it will be extra hard to keep her from bouncing around now that she is feeling a bit better.

Watch her very closely T. These noggin rockers are nothing to mess with.

I know that but somebody has to convince her mom!

Hope the littlen is OK.

Between snow boarding like a fiend & dirt biking with no fear, we had our fair share of head shakers with our son !!

Deb's Dad passed away, over the weekend.

Luckily, we had some advanced notice & she was able to get back to Australia & visit with & say goodbye in mid May !

She's taking it hard & the distance is definitely problematic.

We will do a trip back, to be with her Mum, later in the year.

To lighten the atmosphere a little.

Fishing has been fantastic !
