Whilst in the U.S. we have idiots (generally females and their emasculated male servants) who feed, water, and pay for medical treatment of these damned things, the Aussies have a better idea - https://news.vice.com/article/felin...million-feral-cats?utm_source=vicenewsfb
America needs to understand that our troops are not 'disposable'. Each represents a family; Fathers, Mothers, Sons, Daughters, Cousins, Uncles, Aunts... Our Citizens are our most valuable treasure; we waste far too many.

I like cats, feral or not, regardless of any mindless name-calling.

I like cats, feral or not. Do a little research on the impact of feral cats on songbirds and game birds, as well as rabbit populations - in addition to the diseases those nasty bastards carry - and see if that doesn't change your opinion (it should).

I know all that and have no problem with controlling excess numbers of any species. Except people.

I have a solution for "feral" (any cat on the "maintained" portion of my property) cats......
They don't kill anything for long.
Out of every one hundred men, ten shouldn't even be there, eighty are just targets, nine are the real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle. Ah, but the one, one is a warrior, and he will bring the others back.

Feral cats die of high speed lead poisoning whenever I can facilitate it.
I replace valve cover gaskets every 50K, if they don't need them sooner...

Coyote's seem to help in this area. They are just as hard on wildlife.

Pretty much dead on. It ain't the normal folks feeding them around here. Every single one of them should be killed.

They also eat rodents & snakes, too, which is why they were domesticated thousands of years ago.

They will never eradicate them. No matter what you do they will always be here. As much as I hate the thought of it it seems that Trap, Neuter, Release is the best approach to keep the numbers at least a little lower than what it might be.

These are my opinions, feel free to disagree.

I've got a Drathaar. I haven't seen a stray cat around here for years.
I could wish a lot of things on my worst enemy but neuropathy ain't one of them.
