Picking up a load of onions? They're good sweet onions, that's for sure. Exceptionally good on burgers, sauteed and caramelized, or in pico de gayo.

I had a friend tell me there are a bunch of military folks lining the road outside their humvees on 292 dressed out in their fatigues another guy said he has been hearing choppers fly over his place also. Anyone know of any exercises going on in that area late at night? Probably tunneling under a WALMART, so when they finish taking over Texas, they will have a place to hide out. Sycamore

Probably going to, or coming from summer camp at Ft. Stewart depending on the direction their trucks were facing.
Was there a Dairy Queen near by? That was always a good spot for the Guard to have a truck break down. When I was a boy I used to like to watch the convoys go through town. We never worried about what they were doing then and I don't now. Those vehicles had to be some kind of hot and you could smell the stink of that hot canvas. Made me think that the Navy would be a good choice when my time came.

One of my accomplishments in life..or places in history..I packed the first bag of Vidalia Onions. Think it was 66 or 7 maybe 8 and was working in Piggly Wiggly Southern Warehouse when we installed the onion bagging machine.

Guard Drill. It happens 1 weekend a month and 2 weeks a year.

Anyone know of any exercises going on in that area late at night? They are stopping at 7-11 to fill up their to-go cups. It's safer for them to fill up at 7-11 since it's a gun free zone.
