Don,

Does the trigger assembly resemble the standard RAR trigger? If so, you can pitch the blade and the factory trigger spring will reset the trigger. If you then decide to pitch the trigger spring, you will most likely need a really weak spring to allow for a reset.

On the other hand, if you keep the blade and pitch the trigger spring then the blade should reset the trigger. At least that is how it works on a plain RAR.

I really don't want to remove the blade or trigger spring. Just want to know if it's OK to leave everything as is, and add a trigger shoe. I shot it this afternoon with the shoe(it holds the blade back) and all seemed fine, but was wanting to see if safety, or damage was a concern.....

What does your rifle weigh as is huntsman?

I'd give SAS a ring or shoot him a PM. If he doesn't have the best price, I'd be surprised...

The 243 I'm assuming.

Nice shooting by the way that looks like fun.

I am seeing most .308/6.5 going for $1399 and .243 around $1K. Sportsman's will sell them for $999.00, only getting .308 and 6.5 for now I am told.

A little editorializing: I think they don't like guns like we do. The rifle is just another tool to them like the vehicle or the vest.

Was that instructor's name Ron Frigulti by any chance?
