I have watched his auctions for a while and some always seem to have some help. He sells alot of pre 64 parts on eBay and I think this had some refinishing. As a side note, earlier this week I checked all his auctions, and as usual, the same bidder was bidding up all pieces....

It's very curious. Or not. yooper

zjimmy has never won tdail, jtd auctions either??? Check his feedback.
A 1954 is the easiest of all Supergrades to fake as well. The metal is NO different from Standards.

I think the gun in question has had at least the bolt reblued. I've also never seen a SG that didn't have at least some separation in the finish where forend cap meets walnut. So for me I'm nearly certain the bolt and stock have been messed with.
