Up for sale is a very nice 581 Series Ruger Mini-14 Ranch Rifle in Excellent+ condition. The 581 series introduced a new tapered barrel that addressed the problem of shots being scattered as the barrel heated from shooting. This particular rifle was manufactured in 2011.
This rifle is far from your typical Mini-14 in that its rear sight has been replaced with one of the rugged, reliable Tech Sights, its stock has been bedded and the trigger pull has been professionally lightened reducing its pull to a very crisp, clean breaking 4 lb. +/-. These three modifications combined make for one VERY accurate Mini-14.
Included with the rifle is a Butler Creek folding stock, a sling, a set of original Ruger mounts and three magazines; one 20 round factory and a 20 and 30 round aftermarket. Scope in picture is not included.

Ballpark on round count.?

I bought it used (BARELY used) when it was less than 1 year old. I know that I've put less than 100 rounds through it and judging from its condition, I'd say the last owner likewise put less than 100 through it. So, I'd say around 200 at the very most.
