Put all the names aside for a moment and take a look at what the people are really asking for. The people of the United States are clamoring for aleader.
A leader in the sense that someone says "follow me and we will do this", and "American will stand for this"and a leader that will instill confidence in the people that they will not shrink from criticism, but can work the opposition to get as much done as possible without giving away the farm.
When that person separates themselves from the pack, be it Dem or GOP, they will be the from runner.
Critical times always seem to produce a dynamic leader. Obama has not lead, but he convinced the masses that should they elect him, he would lead us back into the good graces of the International Community and that the world would love us. He would end the problems in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the Middle East would no longer be a problem.
The people got a narcissistic loner who cannot lead his own party, much less the country. The people are still looking for leadership.

McConnell and Boehner have already shown that they roll over to anyone and for damned little money.

I hear you, and those that understand what leadership is can recognize a leader.
Point being, you could have the greatest leader in history show up but it would go unappreciated by many. There are a WHOLE bunch of bosses in the world that consider themselves as leaders and others around that would agree, since they are bosses.
I'd submit that people that have never had to concern themselves with anything other than what shows got dropped from the fall lineup, don't care or no what it takes to lead and why a strong leader is necessary.
Hence many that we have in office today and who we are standing in line behind at the grocery store.
A real leader will lead regardless of if he/she is appreciated or not. Flip side on a true leader....a dangerous thing is a real leader who can/will lead in the wrong direction......

real leadership will have to move to sweep aside such shills as those two. they're proven keepers of the status quo. no change from that ilk.

Anyone who is not supporting the status quo is demonized by Fox, MSM, and the leadership of both parties. Just take a look at what happened to the Tea Party, they were demonized as a bunch of racist whack jobs by both sides. The truth is the Tea Party was originally about being pro constitution and fiscal responsible. Big business owns both party's, and they won't give up easily.
