Had the opportunity this weekend to shoot a couple of different 9mm pistols, a 9mm ar pistol, 9mm ar carbine and an ar10 all suppressed. All were impressive in the amount of sound you did not have... sonic crack from some 9mm rounds, but the slower stuff made about as much noise as the benjamin pellet gun that i played with in between shooting sessions.
I agree. Though I've had issues last fall as it got colder, and evidnetly I may need to try to get my load around 950 to be safe in all temps...
The deer have left when I shot, but not that quick, just more like something ain't right, but we are not sure why...
Others hunting within 400-600 yards won't hear me at all some times. OTher times they can hear it.
Still trying to figure out why sometimes the muffled isn't quite as muffled.
With some slow 240s if you shot 4x4 scraps at the pond out back, the bullet hitting wood was louder than anything else. And not much louder going out the barrel with a live round than dry firing.
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....
