Holy Warthog Batman! Nice choppers.

"An archer sees how far he can be from a target and still hit it, a bowhunter sees how close he can get before he shoots." It is certainly easy to use that same line of thinking with firearms. -- Unknown

Gotta love the 358 Winnie.
That's what keeping me from buying a 9.3x57 because I just can't justify it. I have a .358 built on a M.70 and it's killed everything I've shot, including elk with one shot.

Here's a pic of my Marlin Model 39 which is the original or first version produced from 1922 to 1938 before the Model 39A, which was introduced in 1939. First rifle I ever shot with excluding my Daisy Red Ryder BB gun.

It is a Ruger front site that I installed on it with a NEGC rear sight. Most of the ime it wears a scope, but with the open sites and some 220 gr round nose it feels just about perfect.

So I've learned that Shrapnel (pretty sure is a.k.a Kirksbridgeshooter) and Gedubya have the best gun collections of Winchester, Sako, Sauer, Styer, etc.....no one's collection compares to what I've seen on this site ever. Thanks for sharing. I did however see a very nice looking 358 with a Leica scope and the rifle with that dark mc woody was quite nice.....
Regards, Nick- Georgia
