Just picked up a Whitworth Mauser action that will become a .404 Jeffery. Hope to have it ready to go by early next year. Have a barrel in hand, and am looking for a stock. Will post some pictures as the work progresses.

What you hoping to stabilize with that fast twist? 40gr. Ballistic Tips more than anything. The mag length will limit what I can use. Travis

1. CZ 453 - getting a full overhaul of the finest wood stock I have seen on a CZ rifle. - Rustblueing the barreld action - Installing a S&B 3-12x50 PMII in 34mm Talley rings. It fits with 2-3 mm barrel clarence, and should give enough klicks to 300meters.
2. Husqvarna 640 - Heavy 6,5x55 barrel - McMillan McHale stock - Alaska Arms trigger - S&B 10x42 PMII in 30mm Talley rings
3. BRNO ZG-47 - Turning 30-06 barrel down to Featherweight contour - Hightech stock, brown with red pad - Alaska Arms Rings, with Leupolds 6x42, and a 2,5x20 as back-up instead of sights - Cerakoted Midnight Blue

I've finished a Remington 700 Mountain rifle that was a 30-06 that I just swapped out for a Pac-Nor Super Match 338-06 AI. Also a Kimber Montana that started life as a 325 WSM that I had rebarreled to a 7mm WSM 1-9" twist Pac-Nor. Both just arrived right before I had to go back to work all I've had time to do was assemble em. I'll throw a scope on both when I get home and see how they shoot.
I've also got an Kimber 84M that I'm having rebarreled to a 22-250AI and an 84L that started out as a 270 and is being rebarreled to 6-06 AI. Both will have 22" 1-8" twist Lilja barrels. Southern precision is doing the work on both of these rifles, I'm hoping they show up soon also. All the Montana's were built around the 75,105, and 162 A-max, the 700 was built around the 250 grain Scenar. All barrels are OEM contour.

Finally got to shoot my Kimber 84M that I had rebarreled with an 8" Hart into a 7mm-08AI. Fire formin loadings were impressively accurate, looking forward to getting some AI loads w/ the 150 ScenarL's. Going to try to kill a mule deer with it in a few months.

Got a std. 223 done this year. Gun is enroute to me now from a friend who built it for me. He emailed pics of gun and first group. Ammo was stuff he had from another rifle. I'm not disappointed! New 700 BDL action, squared up. Brux #2 22" 1:8" bbl, Bansner High Tech stock, pillar bedded.

Thanks ... I was going to go AI on this one. Flip/flopped back and forth. Finally sold that AI dies on CGN this week. I like those High Tech stocks, esp with the price of McMillans in Canada these days.

Very nice 223 . I really like the feel of the hightech/bannister as well. Thinking about buying a blank for an old ruger round top m77. Did I mention very nice rifle.

Closer picture of the roughed out cheekpiece. Details... CZ 452 sporter in 17 HMR. Custom trigger guard by DIProducts. I modified the trigger and shortened the magazine. It has a Neidner butt plate and a Weaver 4 X 16 Variable scope with dot on Talley rings. I also made a custom tuner. Total weight with scope is 7 lbs. 4 oz. The gun will be used for short range varmint hunting, shooting in local rimfire matches and general-purpose woods wandering. Dick Wright
