Thanks VarmintGuy for the response and generous offer. Had my elderly mother in tow so was difficult to do as much as we'd hoped. I'll be back this November to hunt elk with my son and grandson. We have enjoyed our time in the Dillon area, and hope to retire there in a couple of years. Did a little fishing on some creeks Liked the Taco Bus and Sparkys and Macs Last Cast. Spent a morning shooting at the Dillon rifle range, nice spot .jd

Solduc: EVERYBODY that comes to Dillon LOVES the Taco Bus! My friend from Germany who comes once a year for a month eats there often and we had guests from Chicago who had never been here before but had read rave reviews of the Taco Bus in a Chicago periodical and they had to try it and loved it - went back several times. I have eaten there three times myself, and like it okay. Our VarmintSons who now live and work on the west coast always head right there when they come to visit here. On a calm day (somewhat rare) the Dillon Range IS a fun place to shoot - I like to bonk the gongs out at 400 and 500 yards. Good luck on the Elk this fall! I hope the smoke is gone by then. Retiring to Dillon, Montana was THE best decision I have ever made. I stay busy enjoying the outdoors here year-round. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
