I certainly haven't, but I have had my fair share of cold, snow, and wind, often simultaneously. With the proper preparation, human beings can survive being out in some downright nasty weather. And I'd bet some tough Alaskan has said something similar at some point

Only -10 to -30F a few times.Maybe not cold enough? Leupold fixed and variable. No issues. Same-o here....

And I'd bet some tough Alaskan has said something similar at some point That is undoubtedly true....and if remains are ever recovered, there is undoubtedly a working rifle and scope somewhere among the scattered remnants.
