Probably cook out and work this weekend. Might do some shooting. Need to get the rifle and shotgun out... Not much out of the ordinary.  What are your plans?

Wife and I will be taking the bike out for a good ride today - possibly 200-250 miles.. Tomorrow it's bratwurst on the grill and sitting on the deck with brewskis in hand..

Getting an early start on loading the truck and trailer. Black powder season starts next Saturday. If I put everything off until the last minute, I'll be too worn out to hunt when the season starts.

I'm going to start dialing in a new rifle today and then watch a little College Football this evening! I'll put a brisket on the smoker tomorrow at daylight and spend the rest of the day babysitting it as well as a few other choice pieces of meat on the grill. Feed the family on Sunday evening then for labor day I'm going to hit the marsh for some redfish/specks and flounder!!! Elk

weather cancelled my kayak trip today, so I'm going to do some .22 target practice, and break out the Stihl weed whacker and tackle the lush, verdent grass out back. Still too flooded to use the zero turn.

Moving Daughter back to college, 400 miles and 6 hours each way. Pack the U-Haul trailer on Monday, drive and move in on Tuesday, drive back on Wednesday. She is a chip off the old mech infantryman block, in that her packing philosophy is "better to have and not need than to need and not have". Next year, she is going to college in Sweden and will need to reduce her weight in "stuff" by 90%, from about a ton down to about 200 lbs.
Almost forgot, Coach Mike Riley's debut as Nebraska's head football coach comes this afternoon, so I'm required to watch. 'Hope that Riley is successful, but either way, he is a better person than the last coach.

Today haul round bales out of the field and tonight watch Wisconsin put a whooping on Alabama.
Tomorrow church, brunch followed by a cookout at our niece's house.

Build a 25-06 yesterday for one of my younger hunting buddies and will fit it to the Laminate stock and bed today. I let him watch the Lathe Work and he has now already signed up for Machine Class at one of the local Community Colleges.
A Doe walks out of the woods today and says, that is the last time I'm going to do that for Two Bucks.

I'll teach a concealed carry class on Sat. Basic handgun on Sun.
Monday it's lounging by the pool at my son's house while watching nubile young females play beach volleyball. Should it bother me to be an old lecher?

3 day weekend for me. Middle of the worst heat wave of the summer.
Sticking close to the house, for the most part. Getting gear ready for my vacation in 2 weeks. Luck of the draw will see me fishing instead of hunting.
Wife tells me we are driving 100 miles north to visit the grandkids this afternoon. Good by me...

Shoot doves and pigeons, catch a mixed bag of fish on the river, camp, ride dirt bike, sight in 22 mag with new scope, wrench on the new project truck if I get time (I doubt that will happen) eat drink and be marry In no particular order.
Been working 12 hours for two weeks so I could have the week end and laybor day off. Gonna savor it!
