Just found out a month before 8 of us head to Idaho, that the house we planed on staying in has been rented out. Well $hit I am going elk hunting regardless. Does anyone know of any place that will accommodate 8 for 10 days then 4 for the entire season. Last resort is hauling camping equipment the 2200 miles and staying in a tent. Just throwing this out there..

Don't think North fork has any cabins. And if they did I'm sure this late in the year they would be spoken for.

Thanks for the input though.

North Fork has a motel. Worth a shot. Call a property management company in Salmon. They might have a rental or two. Or set up at one of the campgrounds with rv hookups on the highway. mtmuley

Guys thanks for the info, I spent the weekend scrambling and jumping through hoops. After 800 phone calls I have been able to get two GP small army tents, lights, cook stoves, cots, all the cooking equipment we need and two small barrel stoves. Looks like we going elk hunting after all.

Again thanks

Fullfan, drove through Gibbonsville on Thursday. I saw a sign that advertised cabins. Might be worth trying to find out. Sorry, it was near dark and I was hauling ass. mtmuley

MT. The broken arrow does have small cabins for rent. I have a line on a house not far from there, just waiting on the owner to call me back. I do appreciate the heads up though.
