Any fellow Spam lovers out there ???
If so, what's your favorite way to fix it?

Absolutely wonderful stuff, as long as you don't fry it.

I won't go so far as to say we were poor while growing up. However, my sainted Mother would put a couple of them together with cloves and pineapple and pass it off as ham to us 4 kids. Were it not for the maraschino cherries she would have failed.

Besides camping/hunting, maybe once a year purchase, and it is usually brought to camp by someone else. With fried eggs, potatoes, and onions.
I eat much more Vienna sausages or canned sardines with crackers.

Heck, I'll eat it. I don't typically seek it out, but I'll eat it.

Have ate a bunch of it. Chopped up with Mayo and some sweet pickle relish on bread with a slice of onion, best. Fried with eggs, onions and potatoes next. Heated up on an exhaust manifold and eaten out of the can last

I have very fond memories of Mom mixing up pineapple juice, mustard, and brown sugar - then putting it in the broiler with a pineapple slice. Then she would make fried rice from the leftover rice. It was amazing! I had no idea everybody else didn't eat Spam...
I love the clove idea and will try it !

I actually like it. Sliced thin and fried crispy it reminds me of bacon. Can't eat it 'raw'.

I use to eat it some as a kid. I have not had it in decades. I found the Koreans huge fans often giving it out as gifts for the key holidays. This taken at the store I used to shop at.

Spam gift sets!!! That is amazing! LOL I tried the teriyaki but it was not my cup of tea... The smoked is pretty good though. Before my dad passed, it was a real treat to have it fried for breakfast with eggs and grits. I certainly don't eat it every day but it tied to lots of fond memories of folks I love!

most of the population of Hawaii eats spam - that about 1.2 million folks. Fried eggs, spam and rice is a mainstay of the local diet. Even McDonalds has a spam, eggs and rice platter for breakfast, I hear. Mel

fried for breakfast, or grilled for lunch sandwiches. Favorite way though, is to make Spam Salad with my Guava hot sauce, onions and sweet pickles, Duke's Mayo and Spam.

Fried, grilled, baked, smoked or sliced right out of the can. I love it all. A smoked Spam "crown roast" for appetizers. Mike

I used to eat it occasionally when I was younger...before I knew better. Sliced right out of the can, between two pieces of fresh bread, with a generous spread of Miracle Whip on it.
I'd have to be starvin' before I'd eat that $ch!t now.
Every day on this side of the ground is a win.
