Lock myself in a room and concentrate on tasks that are methodical, and repetitive. It allows me to empty my mind of the garbage that builds up during the day.
Of course it's therapeutic. It's the same way that sitting in a deer blind is therapeutic.

Yes. I find it very relaxing. That is unless you come on here and ask questions. Although if you have 50-60,000 or so posts it's ok. Then it becomes a job.

Without the past 50 years of reloading, I'd be a lot crazier... Some here on the Fire sure don't need to quit... DF

No, shooting is, reloading is a task to get me back to more shooting.

It is for "The Warden"
I go in the other room, and leave her alone in the quiet.

I wouldn't say I HATE reloading, but it's as close to hate as you can be without being married.

It is for me. After three weeks of project radios, phones and non stop people in and out of my office I'm ready for the quiet of my shop when I get home for my R&R. It's my escape and I can disappear for a whole day in the shop loading handgun, rifle or shotgun.
Chronographs, bore scopes and pattern boards have broke a lot of hearts.

It used to be. Now it's a chore. Guess that's why I shoot pistol so much now days. Whit my progressive, I just pull the handle put a bullet on top, and a completed round exits.

Yep it is. So is putting bullets into tight little groups at all ranges. Especially loooong ones. Then, puting a critter in the freezer with MY ammo. Yep it is. mtmuley

It is for me. I like to go through a load development project for a new rifle, see how it works out; then adjust based on how the shooting results come out. For me it's part of the puzzle.
