Not pristine but worth a look for anyone who wants a Hornet. Don't tarry or it will be gone...

I could live with the cut out, the G&H side mount holes just kill me! Not on this gun just in general, I do know finding an uncut transition, low comb sporter cloverleaf tang stock is a hard find! Im looking for one to put a mint National Match 30-06 in for the day when my Carlos gets to heavy! This is a nice gun! I have seen wood work gurus splice the small cut out in and unless some one told you it did not stick out like a sore thumb! The very best WinBroke

The cut doesn't bother me as it could very well be original. I have a transition 375 that has no rear sight (factory) and an inleted Lyman 48. I find it hard to believe that someone special ordered a 375 without a rear sight and not having a peep put on it.

Winpoor, your looking for a transition National Match stock??? That would be like looking for a grain of salt in the Pacific Ocean!

Does anyone know what the Hornet sold for? Was gone by the time I looked.

Thanks,

Reel Man I have a transition MN in the original marksman stock, what Im looking for is a sporter transition stock to put the national match barreled action in! I know one day 'Carlos' the Target in sporter stock may get a little heavy,
To make things clear, I need an uncut sporter transition
stock....period, I'm going to stick a NM 30-06 in it! the very best WinPoor
