Found a pair of Pentax 10x43mm DCF ED Binoculars for under $600. Applied credit card points and walked away with them for under $400. I have to say that they are very good. They actually seem better than my old Leica Trinovids. For under $400 out of my pocket, and the quality of these bins, I'm a happy guy.

Good for you. I'm a big fan of Pentax. The first decent roof prism binocular I had was the DCF WP II. Have since had SPs which are very good. Have never used ED's, but if they are better than the SPs they are great.
