Ok, does anyone know why several different manuals list loads for Nitro 100 as a pistol powder but the label on the jug says not to use it in pistols?

I understand that. Just wondering why there are loads listed in the manuals for it and the package says not to use it in handgun loads. What do you believe, the manuals or the label on the package? crazy

We are in the process of developing loads for Nitro100 – “New Formulation”.

For shotshell please use load guide version 2.1 or later.
For centerfire metallic cartridges please use load guide version 3.5 or later.

Due to this statement, and knowing that the label could have been printed and put on the product before they had loads for it, personally I would default to manufacturers load data and screw the label. But that's just me.

There were/are TWO different formulations of that powder. In essence, two different powders with the same name.

Be absolutely positive you know which powder you are loading, and follow the appropriate data.

Thus it seems that I should go with the warning on the label on the jug rather than the load manuals. Thanks.
