I have a T/C .54 Renegade (left handed) that I think has a problem with cocking. It doesn't seem to want to go to full cock. I took the lock out of the stock and it seems to work ok, however, when I put it in the stock, it won't go all the way back.

Any ideas?

Or, have you had it a while and it just started doing it?

Do you know if it's been altered or other wise fooled with?

Yes, as it turns out it was this way when I got it. I think I will send it back to T/C and see what they say. I took the lock out and part of the plate was broken where the coil spring was bearing on it.
