Hey all.

I've got a rebarrel idea that I intend to pursue at some point: Browning A-bolt Super Short action chambered in 450 Bushmaster. After searching the innanet quite a bit, I've gleaned that McGowen in Kalispell, MT will rebarrel A-Bolts, and has a Bushmaster reamer. They are actually the only place I've found online that meets these criteria.

Anyone have work done through them?

Maybe someone has a lead for me on other places that fit the bill?

Thanks!

McGowen rebarreled a Mark X to .376 Steyr for me a couple years ago. I've not been able to try a lot of different loads as of yet but so far so good. I like your idea of a Bushmaster bolt action and have that on my "To Do" list as well. Have no experience with them but these guys specialize in .450 bolt guns:
