Also posted this in the Gunwriter forum, so please forgive the redundancy, but am trying to cover the bases, so to speak.

Anyone out there have (or know a gunsmith who has) a Husqvarna HVA stock?
My kid broke his, for the second time, yesterday! Two years ago he was hiking down a steep, icy trail. Did the classic whoops thing, smacked his gunstock and broke it at the wrist.
Gorilla glue works wonders, though, and he's shot an elk and several deer & antelope with it since. Yesterday, though, we were getting the horses through some kinda bad deadfall, & he had a minor rodeo. I didn't see it happen, as was fully occupied with my own saddle horse & two packhorses, but when he caught up was in a foul humor indeed, and the gunstock is done for, this time.
So, I just called Gentry's, but I know they try to shut things down this time of year (don't blame them a bit!), & the Mrs. wasn't sure if they had a take-off. Someone does, though...?

The fella from mcMillan chimed in on another thread a while back and I'm fairly certain that he said that they made stocks for this action. Might be more then you want to spend though...

When I talked with Gentry's yesterday, the Mrs. said setting up one of their stocks to fit the Husky would be a custom deal, & might cost more than the rifle is worth.

I know, to gun enthusiasts this statement defies logic on several levels, but she may be right anyway. Because it really needs a different trigger too, and then probably a 3-position safety also. Might be simpler to just buy a featherweight M70, which is what we were kinda looking for back when my son was 12 (turning 18 in a couple of months, and the finest hunting partner anyone could ask for), but no, he likes the Husky.
I always figured I'd do the aforementioned upgrades if/when I draw a goat or sheep tag, but for the moment we'd settle for a stock...

Look up a fella with the screen name sbha (I think that's right), he might have what you are looking for.

Yes, by all means do a Blackburn trigger and a Dakota 3 position safety. That and a new stock is all anyone could ask for. Your son is right....very good rig!

There isn't a Winchester 70 made that will be as good as
what you have already! So forget that idea.
