Do these fit an American 38" waist (re: big butt) or are they cut for an "athletic fit" like their jackets?

They are cut fuller than Sitka, and have a gusseted crotch. I'm 6'4" 210# have muscular thighs, and butt. The 36's give me enough leg room. I have a hard time finding pants with enough room for me, and these do. For reference, in jeans I only wear Cinch original Green Label. Hope this helps.
