Beautiful wolf, congratulations.
We have a lot of wolves here in Northern MI. Our 1 and only season 2yrs ago didn't meet the set quota and there are no future hunts.

Thanks for taking the time to write up your experience. I cannot imagine the thrill of being that close to several wolves.
Really enjoyed your photos, and most of all, I applaud your choice of cartridge for the task. Not everyone takes to the hill with a 416.
