Both 250-3000
Top EG with Lightfoot mount
Bottom R
Both with Leupold 2.5 X 8
I'm very pleased how well both shoot using 100 grain factory Silvertips.
I believe the woods are full of trembling deer! eek

Nice picture...better than fence post. My son will be carrying his great grandfathers 99EG into the woods this year. The rifle has never killed a deer....yet.

This pair of 99 are what I hope get them trembling.

Top is a 1953 EG with 3x weaver cross hair reticle, Bottom is a 1940 T with weaver 3x post reticle. Both chambered in 300 Savage. Be a tough choice to see which one follows me out to the blind opening morning, The EG has safe seniority, but......

Those are a couple of dandies. Looks like the T is set up for a sling; that will allow both hands free to drag that UP buck.

You Sir can post on my thread anytime as with anyone else. However I do appreciate the kind words. Good luck this fall with your hunt.
